The entryway is the first part of your home that guests may see and for quick guest, it may be the only part they see. If you’re all about making a good impression on your guests, I put together 12 ways to create a warm, neutral entryway in a small space. These items listed will spice up any small entryway!
- Entryway mirror and hooks – mirrors are great for making a small space look bigger! This modern mirror is extremely functional. Also, I’m sure almost everyone would like to take a look in the mirror to make themselves presentable before leaving the house.
- Customized welcome art print – nothing says “welcome” to guests like an art print customized with your home street and number and your family name. This piece is a classic touch to any entry way!
- Shoe racks – if you have a shoes off policy, this modern shoe rack is great to have by your mirror and hooks. It simplifies putting yourself together before walking out the door.
- Decor books – spice up your console table with a set of decorative books.
- Faux pampas grass – great to place next to the door. This will look amazing in a tall floor vase.
- Floor vase – this bamboo woven floor vase is great for taller faux stems, like palm and pampas grass, that look amazing in entryways.
- Storage ottoman – this textured ottoman is perfect for storage in your entryway and also double as a bench to assist you or guests with putting their shoes on.
- Console table – this is generally the main focus of many entryways. This Santa Rosa console table is perfect for a neutral space. You can add a mirror or an art print above it and place decor items on the surface.
- Wood links – this neutral decor piece is perfect to the minimal/modern look! It will look flawless next to the books pictured above.
- Area rug – area rugs can bring together the look of any room! This one is perfect for a neutral look.
- Decorative tray/bowl – a bowl or tray can be perfect alone for a minimalist look or you can place other decor items in them. Here is another decorative bowl that I absolutely love!
- Shelf with hooks – small entryways may not have the space for a coat rack and they may not have full coat closets. Extra hooks are necessary to create a warm welcome for your guest, serving as place to temporarily hang their coats and belongings.
