When my first little one was born, bedside tips and hacks gave me peace of mind and saved me so much time! Feeding a newborn is an around the clock task. Whether you are exclusively pumping, breast feeding, bottle feeding, or a combination, you may find yourself forgetting items, forgetting to eat or even forgetting your own self care! Self care is super important during pregnancy and postpartum so I created an organization system that makes all of this EASY!

There are three stations that I made in the most frequented areas of my house in those early newborn days. Even now that my baby is 5 months old, these stations are still extremely helpful.
The stations consist of a 1. Baby cart 2. Portable diaper caddy and 3. Bath basket. The baby cart goes next to your bed at night or wherever the baby is sleeping. During the day it can be rolled anywhere in the house. The diaper caddy can be kept in the living room or other family room, and the bath basket can be kept in the bathroom for easy accessibility.

Newborn Cart

The cart I am using is from Amazon. You can find it HERE.

This is where you would want to keep snacks and water that you can access while you are feeding baby. You will also want to keep diapers, wipes, extra outfits, burp cloths, bottle or bread feeding supplies, any other baby care necessities, and an extra blanket or swaddle in the cart.

Diaper Caddy

The diaper caddy is one of my favorite items! It can also be found on Amazon HERE. I keep diaper changing items in here and extra clothes in case of a blowout.

My favorite item in this caddy is this changing pad. It is very easy to wash which is super important for a changing pad for obvious reasons.

Bath Basket

The bath basket was a baby shower gift that was purchased from TJ Maxx but a basket like THIS will do.
Prior to setting up this bath basket I spent so much time running back to baby’s room because I forgot a towel or a washcloth so I decided to keep all the necessities in the bathroom!
